Applications are invited on a plain paper/e-mail (along with copies of educational qualifications) from eligible candidates for selection of Two Project Assistants and Lab/Green house Attendant under DBT sponsored project entitled “Identification and molecular characterization of a new virus causing severe mosaic disease in melons (Cucumis melo)”, sanctioned to Dr. Gopinath Kodetham, Department of Plant Sciences, University of Hyderabad. Hyderabad. Name and No. of Positions 1. Project Assistants (2). 2. Lab/Green House Attendant. Emoluments of the Positions 1. Project Assistants (2) = Rs. 8,000 Fixed 2. Lab/Green House Attendant = 5,000 Fixed Qualifications 1. Project Assistants : M. Sc/Integrated M. Sc in any area of Biology/Microbiology/Virology/Biotechnology 2. Lab/Green House Attendant: 10th or Intermediate, who has good hands on experience in maintaining the Laboratory/Plants and should Know how to make LB and buffers in the Laboratory. Duration : Appointments are made for a period of one year and can be extended Until the duration of the project i.e., for a period of 2 ½ years.
